Edificio Tomás Bretón (Arganzuela, Madrid)

Project of 20 ecological co-housing units with 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms, including a parking space and storage room, located in the Delicias neighborhood of the Arganzuela district in Madrid. The building is designed to minimize environmental impact, reduce energy consumption, and enhance the quality of life, both during its construction phase and in its operational use.

Innovation and Design

20 ecological co-housing units, constructed on 4 floors and an attic using technical wood on two basements and a concrete podium. Communal and private open spaces.

Sustainable Materials

Industrialized and traditional construction to accelerate construction processes and minimize economic impact. Materials based on nature with very low carbon footprint, beneficial for occupants' health. Technical wood from sustainable forests with FSC or PEFC certificates.
Wooden structure (CLT and GLULAM) on a podium consisting of two basements and the first floor of Reinforced Concrete. Industrialized and LEAN construction processes. Passivhaus standard. Energy-efficient homes with low consumption (energy and water) that generate the energy they consume.
